This is a great recipe for a backyard cookout. So go get some ribs, charcoal, and call your family and friends. Have a great time. Toss some horseshoes, play some games from your childhood. Don’t forget the water balloons. Just have a plain old good time.
Backyard Barbequed Ribs:
1and 1/2 cups your favorite Barbeque sauce
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp your favorite hot sauce
4 pounds beef ribs
2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Combine the barbeque sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and hot sauce in a large bowl. Stir well to combine. Place the ribs in a large shallow dish sprinkle with the cayenne pepper. Let sit for 5 minutes. Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs. Cover. Chill for 3 or more hours turning the ribs once while they are chilling.
Remove the ribs from the marinade. Boil the marinade for 15 minutes. Grill the ribs on a cover grill on indirect heat for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Basting every 20 – 30 minutes with the boiled marinade.

This is a really quick meal to prepare. It usually only takes around 30 to 40 minutes to prepare. It is simple yet quite delicious. Give it a try and let me know what ya’ll think.
Pork Chops with Orange Curry Sauce:
1 pound center cut boneless pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
1/3 cup orange marmalade
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/8 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
2 teaspoons olive oil
Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle chops with the salt and pepper. In a large skillet, over a medium heat, heat the olive oil. Saute the chops for 4 minutes on each side until both sides are a light golden brown.
In a small bowl, mix the remaining ingredients. Add to the skillet, coat the chops with the sauce.Reduce the heat to low and cook for about 20 minutes or until chops are cooked.
I usually serve mine with Jasmine rice and a nice tossed salad.
Hope ya’ll drop by again really soon.

Mama always made the most delectable chuck roast. She would put it on the stove early in the day and let it simmer on low till supper.
Mama’s Chuck Roast
1 chuck roast
salt
Pepper
water
Heat alittle bacon grease in a heavy skillet (mama always used cast iron). Sprinkle salt and pepper on all sides of the roast. Brown the roast on all sides. Add enough water to come up about halfway on the roast. Simmer several hours adding warm water as needed to keep the roast surrounded by water. About 6Â hours is all you need to cook this roast. It will be able to be pulled apart with a fork.
Leftovers make great BBq’d Beef.
See yall soon.
